Wellbeing Walk - Skelton Lake
Join us for a gentle stroll at Skelton Lake, guided by the team at Good Footing.
Time & Location
12 Dec 2021, 11:00 – 13:00
Skelton Lake, Leeds LS9 0AS, UK
Led by an expert guide, these walks are open to all adults affected by a brain tumour (including patients, carers and loved ones). You will be taken on a leisurely, low-level walk for around 1-1.5 hours.
We will meet at the entrance to Leeds Skelton Lake Services, located at J45 off the M1. There is free parking for up to 3 hours. Full details here: https://extraservices.co.uk/locations/leeds-skelton-lake/
From here, we will walk along some beautiful (and mostly unknown) countryside around Skelton Lake.
We hope walkers will join us for a drink afterwards. The routes are suitable for beginner walkers, but unfortunately unsuitable for those in a wheelchair. Any members of your party who would prefer not to take part in the walk are welcome to stay at the café with a member of the YBTC team for a chat and a cuppa.
If you have any issues with arranging transportation, please get in touch and we can arrange a lift. To contact us, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0113 340 0111.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance. Please only buy tickets for members of your party who will be walking.
